'Stolen' (Feature Film)

'Stolen' is an adventure story set in the 1860's at the time of the gold rush in New Zealand. The story starts in Australia and travels to New Zealand, which at the time was a wild and unchartered land.

The gold rush attracted a very cosmopolitan group of people including the English, Irish and Scots, the Americans and Canadians, Europeans and even the Chinese, all mixed in the native Maori population.

‘Stolen' is the story of a young upper class English woman, Clara Lockton, who must fight all of her prejudices and find the strength to reclaim her kidnapped son from the charming, Irish, sociopath, Joshua McCullen.

Along the way she is touched by those she had previously thought untouchable, in particular a prostitute, Chinese tobacconist and a Maori warrior. It is a dangerous world with a mountain journey in extreme weather, a villain to match all villains, pride and debauchery. This is balanced with the kindness of strangers, friendship, love and ultimately contentment.

The film has an exciting drive and is a ‘good yarn'.

'To Love and Conquer' (Feature Film)

An injured Roman soldier is taken in by a tribe of Celts and nursed back to health by a female healer who he falls in love with. He is then torn between two very different realities. 'To Love and Conquer' will be a new twist on an old theme. It takes a classical story and setting, and communicates it with a hip, dynamic, energetic, edgy and striking voice. Our inspiration moves away from the staid and predictable and focuses our team's solid production skills to produce a film which can be effectively marketed to the youth of today for it's pace and look, whilst bringing in the 'adults' with it's credibility and emotional journey. To Love and Conquer is the perfect, elusive combination of commercial and arthouse.

On her return to the family home she comes into contact with the people she had loved the most from her early years.
